Sam Sadigursky is one of the most versatile musicians of his generation. He has released thirteen acclaimed albums as a leader and appears on over sixty albums as a side musician, including numerous Grammy nominees and several Grammy award winners.
He’s a member of the Philip Glass Ensemble and has also toured and recorded with Brad Mehldau, David Byrne, Bruce Hornsby and yMusic, Fred Hersch, Darcy James Argue’s Secret Society, Gabriel Kahane, Tom Jones, Yuka Honda, Edmar Castaneda, the Mingus Orchestra and U.S. Poet Laureate Robert Pinsky. From 2017–2019 he was the onstage clarinetist for the Grammy, Tony and Emmy Award winning show The Band’s Visit on Broadway and has also performed on over twenty other Broadway productions.
He has published five volumes of original etudes and duets for clarinet and is also currently collaborating on an original musical about the life of Joseph Pulitzer.
Currently, he's focusing most on a working duo with accordionist Nathan Koci called The Solomon Diaries, which has thus far released five albums of original music.
All concerts are free and open to the public. Live performances will take place at Wolfson Campus Auditorium, 300 N.E. Second Ave., Miami, FL 33132. Building 1, Room 1261. Performances will be livestreamed, except for the student ensembles.
