Lauren Henderson sings with a virtuosic warmth and interprets with intention. Since her arrival on the New York scene in 2009, the singer and bilingual songwriter has been enchanting audiences across the world.

Henderson’s music reflects a multidisciplinary artistry. Washed with bright, bold harmonies and ruminative syncopation, her repertoire features tender ballads, swinging arrangements, flamenco dance patterns, Afro-Caribbean influences and heartfelt storytelling.

Recognized as one of 10 jazz artists blending and expanding the sounds of Latin America by the Recording Academy, Henderson's music and artistic contributions are featured on GRAMMY.com.

Henderson was featured on the cover of the Spotify Vocal Jazz Playlist, in the Financial Times, breaking the Jazz Charts Top 5 and included in the Year End Jazz Week Top 40.

Henderson's voice and music has been featured on Netflix, El Juego de las Llaves, Sky Rojo, The Drowning and is the prominent voice of the Stuart Weitzman "How Lovely To Be A Woman" campaign featuring Aly Raisman, Christy Turlington, Issa Rae, Lucy Liu and Ming Xi.

All concerts are free and open to the public. Live performances will take place at Wolfson Campus Auditorium, 300 N.E. Second Ave., Miami, FL 33132. Building 1, Room 1261. Performances will be livestreamed, except for the student ensembles.
