Cheriene Floyd serves as Chief Data Officer for the City of Miami, bringing a 20-plus-year track record of making complex systems work for people. Prior to joining the City of Miami, she worked in budget and performance management in Broward County, led technology transformation initiatives in consulting, and headed Miami-Dade County's first Office of Innovation and Performance under Mayor Daniella Levine Cava.

She holds a Bachelor of Arts in Latin American Studies from the College of William & Mary (Williamsburg, VA), a Master of Public Administration from Old Dominion University (Norfolk, VA), and a Master of Business Administration from Clark University (Worcester, MA).
